BTI Dive Team - Re-Visits Dave's Bay, Tobermory, Ontario, Canada
Dave's Bay is a few km South of Tobermory on Georgian Bay, Ontario at the end of Little Cove Road. This broad cobble/bedrock beach is at the north edge of several miles of pristine Georgian Bay shore.
My last dive at Dave's Bay was in 2014 on a certification dive with SCUBA 2000, a good SCUBA dive training site. https://www.scuba2000.com/
BTI Dive Team Member 2018, Let's Do It!

However, the road leading to the beach is hazardous for the last 300m.

Consider, humping your dive equipment down this road, if your vehicle is older or if not a 4WD with good road clearance.
It is actually worse then it looks.

I broke my brake lines in 2014 on my Dodge Dakota Pickup Truck while ascending the road on upon completion of the dive.

Being down one of our able bodied BTI Dive Team Member's, considering the 130 Steel Tanks we planned to try out this day with my eager BTI Dive Team Member and this nasty non-maintained road:
The decision was made, off to the Sweet Shop in Tobermory for a good hot coffee on the BTI Team Budget. http://www.sweetshop.ca/coffeeshop
Got to keep the Troops Happy! :-)
And with regard to the rumor that the BTI Project Manager is a bit of a bear.... ;-)
